Junior High Years

Junior High is a time of transition and growth. This is the time when the majority of students face roadblocks. The way in which students manage and work through the roadblocks in junior high become foundational to their development and future success as young adults. The Student Services Department at Central Catholic provides opportunities to address the roadblocks by offering educational workshops, problem-solving meetings with the school team, and/or individual sessions with students. The overall goal is nurturing the whole child in order for students to develop academic and social-emotional confidence prior to entering High School. With an emphasis on the Gospel Values of Community and Integrity, the Student Services Department is committed to building a welcoming, strong, and loving community and ensuring students are acting and speaking with honesty and sincerity.

Community: Committing to building a welcoming, strong, and loving community.

  • “For as in one body we have many parts, and all the parts do not have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ and individually parts of one another.” (Romans 12:4-5 New American Bible)
  •

Integrity: Acting and speaking with honesty and sincerity.

  • “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” (Luke 6:31)

Student Responsibilities
