LCSS in the Fall

From apple dumplings to the fall music concert, the Lafayette Catholic School System is celebrating the fall and the changing of the season!

LCSS recently held its 2nd annual Fall Festival, including a trunk or treat, bounce house, scavenger hunt, food trucks, and face painting. The festival was free for families to attend, and with wonderful fall weather, it was a great event that all enjoyed.

Also at the fall festival were the CC Apple Dumplings. Central Catholic had made apple dumplings at the Feast of the Hunters Moon for many years, and now this treat is available to be purchased and served at home. The apple dumpling presale ends this Thursday, Oct. 20, though there will be some available for drive-through pickup on Oct. 21 and 22.

This year, the Lafayette Catholic Schools are also participating in Prophetstown's State Park's Trail of Scarecrows! Be sure to stop by before November 5th to see LCSS's scarecrow.

Central Catholic also held its annual fall music concert. The students were able to showcase their vocal and instrumental talents at the concert.
