St. Mary and St. Lawrence Welcome New Principals

We are excited to announce two new principal hires for our Catholic schools. Mrs. Pam Myers has been selected as Principal for St. Lawrence and Mrs. Katie Christopher as Principal for St. Mary. Both were selected from a process that included input and participation from a variety of people within the LCSS community. Both Mrs. Myers and Mrs. Christopher are well known to our school community as they currently serve as teachers within their respective schools.

Mrs. Pam Myers has served at St. Lawrence since 2004 teaching second grade. Mrs. Myers brings an excellent reputation as a skilled instructor to the principalship. She is committed to ensuring that all students learn to their maximum potential and to fostering innovation through collaboration with teachers, staff, students and families. She is familiar with the traditions and successful practices at St. Lawrence and is excited to have started in her new role.

Mrs. Myers lives in Lafayette with her husband Wade and three children, Conner (12th grade at CC), Cayden (10th grade at CC), and Cameron (7th grade at CC). During her free time, she loves to read, going for walks, watching her sons play soccer and spending as much time with her oldest before he goes off to college.

Mrs. Katie Christopher is a 2010 graduate of Central Catholic and also attended both St. Mary and St. Boniface schools. She previously served as a third grade teacher at St. Mary and has been in that role since 2015. Prior to that she taught second and third grade at Sacred Heart Elementary in Fowler, IN. During her time as a teacher, Mrs. Christopher has proven to be a student-centered and motivational Catholic educational leader who easily connects with parents, students and staff. She brings a clear understanding and enthusiasm for St. Mary and is excited to serve the teachers and students in her new role.
