Bishop's Society

The Bishop’s Society is a leadership group that enrolls committed individuals and organizations who dedicate themselves to LCSS by advancing the mission of the schools and providing unwavering leadership-level support, thereby ensuring an education that integrates the rigors of academic excellence with the spirit and support of a Catholic community. The Bishop’s Society includes individuals who make an annual gift of $1,000 or more each fiscal year (July 1-June 30). These gifts provide flexible resources to support the immediate needs of our schools, both in the classroom and across campuses.

Levels of Impact

$10,000+ Guardian Knight

$5,000-9,999 Golden Knight

$2,500-4,999 Bishop Bennett

$1,000-2,499 Bishop’s Circle

$1,000 can send a teacher to a professional conference in his/her field to cultivate valuable networks and create dynamic classroom programming.
$2,500 can help pay for a school field trip to the Indianapolis Zoo or Children’s Museum.
$5,000 can support a summer internship for students interested in working with technology to prepare student laptops and iPads for the new school year.
$10,000 can support the development of one new course to meet student demand – like the entrepreneurship class recently launched at Central Catholic.

Members of the Bishops’ Society of Annual Donors receive recognition in our annual report and special invitations to events. Donors at the Guardian Knight level, $10,000 or more, also receive an All-Access Pass to all Lafayette Catholic School System home athletic contests (excludes IHSAA tournament contests), concerts, plays, and events for the 2021-2022 school year. This is our way of saying thank you and giving our most loyal benefactors an opportunity to get together and share their love for our schools.
