Job Description
Although we do not board at Creekside Animal Hospital & Wellness Center, our Kennel Attendee plays a vital role in making sure that our days run smoothly and efficiently. This position helps share the end-of-day responsibilities and allows a great work-life balance for all staff members. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Clean and disinfect dishes of all sorts - Clean and disinfect all cages and runs - Prepare bedding for all patients - Walk hospitalized patients - Change cat litter - Feed hospitalized patients upon doctor instructions - Clean yard and make sure “poop stations” are clean and stocked - Take out trash - Clean and fold laundry according to hospital standards - Restock examination rooms according to hospital standards
Qualifications
Must be 16 years of age and able to lift objects up to 50lbs unassisted.

As an Autism Therapy Assistant, you will implement your patient’s individualized program written by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), you will help your patient learn new skills that are truly beneficial to them and their family. Some of the targets we work on are social, communication, vocational, and life skills. We support patients from two years old to young adults. Services are implemented in the most appropriate setting for the patient and can include the therapy center, home, school, workplace, and/or other community-based setting. The Autism Therapy Assistant position offers a lot of variety as each day can look a little different! If not certified at time of offer, must be attained within the orientation/training period. Staff are paid for training and LittleStar will cover the cost associated with obtaining and maintaining certification.
