After two years without a game, the dads of the 4-6th graders at St. Lawrence and St. Boniface played in the 16th annual Battle of the Saints earlier this month. The annual event had been cancelled the last two years due to the pandemic and the energy in McHale Gym was in force. St. Lawrence came into the series leading 10 - 3 and were determined to keep the winning streak. St. Boniface led after the first quarter, but it would be short lived. St. Lawrence pulled away in the second and the lead would not change again. Thank to all of the fathers, volunteers, cheerleaders and fans for bringing March Madness back to McHale Gymnasium. Through the generosity of many the event raised over $2,000 to support our elementary schools. March Madness Comes Early with Battle of the Saints
