The LCSS Day of Giving is a 24 hour day of pride for the Lafayette Catholic School System. It is an opportunity for LCSS supporters to come together on one day, celebrate the school system, and give to the annual Spirit Fund.
Gifts made to the Spirit Fund provide immediate support for every part of the LCSS experience. In particular this year, with many families affected by the recession and the pandemic, support of the Spirit Fund makes a difference to all school families. The Spirit Fund provides funds for student aid so that all students who want a Catholic education will be able to receive one, teacher support so that teachers can continue to provide excellence in learning both in-person and virtually, and funding for extracurriculars such as the fine arts, music, and athletics.
This year, with 272 supporters, the 2021 Day of Giving exceeded its goal of $30,000 and raised over $46,000!
