Faculty members at Central Catholic, St. Boniface, St. Lawrence, and St. Mary Cathedral Schools received a technology update. Every teacher received a MacBook Air and an iPad Mini to utilize in their classrooms. This technology refresh goes hand in hand with the technology learning initiatives at Central Catholic as well as with the Strategic Plan.

Faculty members at Central Catholic have been receiving training on the transition to Apple products over the past 9 weeks and the teachers at the elementary schools will begin receiving training April 16.
“The introduction of one to one technology is an exciting challenge to both the faculty and students at CC,” says Mary Anthrop. “Each discipline will likely integrate and implement the new technology differently. Teachers now have the opportunity to blend new mediums of communication with traditional ‘tried and true’ methods of teaching. In the Social Studies, I look forward to having immediate access in the classroom to resources from historical archives, museums and historic sites.”
