Singing Their Hearts Out

Singing Their Hearts Out

Central Catholic has a rich history of putting on musicals, starting from nearly the first year of the school opening to last week’s You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown. Over the years, the students have enjoyed flexing their thespian muscles by playing characters such as Tevye, Daddy Warbucks, and the Wicked Witch of the West. Some musicals are particular favorites with both students and audience and have been performed multiple times, including Bye Bye Birdie (twice) and The Wizard of Oz (thrice).

CC students have sung their hearts out on stage and created the perfect backdrops and lighting behind the scenes. Musicals, along with other extra curricular activities, help to educate the whole person and help students to grow in self-confidence and to learn the importance of hard work. But most of all, the students simply enjoy their time together and bringing plays and musicals to life.

Here are a few of our memorable Knights and their time on stage.
