One-in-the-Spirit
After the Parish investments to the school system, One-in-the-Spirit is the primary vehicle
for supporting the school’s operating needs each year and the most
fundamental way you can support the mission of the Lafayette Catholic
Schools. One-in-the-Spirit helps to bridge the gap between tuition and the
cost of educating our students. This biennial appeal raises unrestricted
current-use dollars that fund the operational costs at all four of our
schools.
Ensuring that we continue to offer a strong academic and spiritual program with excellent
teachers and administration so that our students will become the future
leaders of our Church and our community is the reason for
One-in-the-Spirit.
We are very fortunate that each parish maintains the elementary school on its own
campus, but Central Catholic is the responsibility of us
all. Heat and lights, grounds, athletic facilities, labs, stage and chapel
need to be maintained. Paper and supplies, copiers and computers, cleaning,
repair and replacement add up in terms of operating all of our schools.
One-in-the-Spirit kicks-off in the fall of the odd numbered years. Billing begins the
following January and continues for 24 months.

Why give?
- Tuition covers only 58% of the operating budget. The most cost effective way to help
us meet our expenses while managing rising tuition costs is to take
advantage of this tax deductible giving option, a contribution of cash or
stock to One-in-the-Spirit.

One-in-the-Spirit gifts are accepted via personal check, cash, or in stock.
Biennial pledges are welcome with payment being made in monthly, quarterly,
semi-annually or annual increments. For your convenience, the Development
Office can send you a reminder. Your gift to the current One-in-the-Spirit
campaign can be made by printing out the form below and sending it to us via
mail or online.
