Golf Outing

Over the past 16 years, the annual LCSS Golf Outing has raised over $142,000 for the Tuition Assistance Program. Alumni, parents, and friends of the Lafayette Catholic Schools come together for a great afternoon of golf, fellowship and a lot of fun.

The 2007 outing was part of the Central Catholic 50th year celebration and took place on July 13. A field of 140 golfers and 32 sponsors raised over $17,000 for tuition assistance for students in the Lafayette Catholic Schools.

Chaired by CC alums, Jim Greives, CC '68 and Jackson Bogan CC '97, golfers were treated to a day of renewed friendships and golf at Coyote Crossing Golf Course.

The 2008 Golf Outing is scheduled for Friday, July 11th at the Battle Ground Golf Course. This year's event will be chaired by Tommy Decker CC '82, current LCSS parent, and Jackson Bogan CC '97. Get your foursome together, be a hole sponsor or just volunteer to help! Our schools are truly blessed with generous alumni, parents and friends who make this annual event an outstanding success!

CC alumni classes from '58, '63, '68, '73, '78, '83, '88, '93, '98, and '03 are invited to consider scheduling their reunions in conjunction with the 17th Annual Golf Outing. If you would like more information call 765-474-7500 or email Chris Goellner goellner@lcss.org.
