Blue Knight Auction

On Saturday, April 30, 2011, hundreds of dedicated parents, alumni and friends of the Lafayette Catholic Schools gathered for the 18th Annual Blue Knight Auction “Knight In Paradise”.  The 2011 Auction raised $185,000 for our schools! These funds benefited Tuition Assistance ($125,940), Teacher Wish Lists ($11,194) and Technology Special Project ($50,300) at all four campuses.  See attached our May Issue of the Blue Knight Notes.

Be a Volunteer Over 300 volunteers are needed each year. There are small jobs, if you have a couple of hours available and big jobs that can involve planning and constructing the Auction itself. If you would be interested in helping, click, volunteer form, for a printable version to fill out and send to the Development Office at Central Catholic or email goellner@lcss.org. Every job from collecting auctions items to serving tables is important and makes the Auction a truly special event! Donate or Sponsor an Item Over 500 oral and silent auction items are sold each year. You can sponsor one of the many Auction Trips or a Special Item to be auctioned at the event. Attend or Host a Gift Gathering Party Gift Gathering Parties are a fun way to collect items for the Blue Knight Auction. Admission to the party is an item for the auction or a cash donation which will be used to purchase auction items. If you would like to host a Gift Gathering Party, contact the Development Office (765) 474-7500 or email goellner@lcss.org. Attend the Auction Put together a group of 10 and have your own table or come and let us seat you with other Lafayette Catholic School supporters. Seats are $85 each and a table for 10 is $850.
