PSAT/SAT
The PSAT was administered to all
Central Catholic Sophomore and Juniors on October 14, 2009.
The PSAT is designed as an early indicator of student’s college readiness for college
level work. The PSAT is also used as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying
test for juniors. Results will be returned in early December along with their
test booklet. This allows students to review and understand where mistakes
may have been made. The Guidance Director also meets with the juniors to help
them interpret their results.

College entrance exams are an important part of the Admissions decision. It is essential
that tests are taken in a timely manner. ACT and SAT registration packets are available
in the Guidance Office. Preparation manuals, which include a practice test, are
also available. Stop in and pick up your test materials today. Please note upcoming
deadlines.
